Mindfulness is not simply sitting with the eyes closed and trying to relax. It is so much more and once mastered can change your life.
To be mindful we simply learn techniques to help us be fully aware of what our experience is in the present moment. This raises awareness of our whole body and allows us space to choose how to respond. Practicing mindfulness can change your relationship with your thoughts and feelings, bringing more awareness, understanding and control. There is scientific evidence that the practice can change your brain, enabling you to be a true friend to yourself and fully be the wonderful person you are.
